Urban Plains hosted a launch party April 6 in the culinary loft of the Des Moines Social Club. Hosts Hunter Phillips and Mariah Lewis had the chance to talk with our current General Manager Hannah Bruneman and UP alums Kayli Kunkel and Grace Wenzel. Kunkel was the 2015 editor-in-chief and Wenzel was the senior web producer. They discussed all things Urban Plains, from putting in late hours to finding a life-sized statue of Rafiki on the on-location version of Listen UP!
