The Art of Fencing

In the Midwest, sports are a part of our everyday lives. Kids grow up playing basketball, soccer, football, or anything else for the love of the game. But for fencers, their sport has just started to become popular after centuries of play. More than 20,000 people are members of USA Fencing. Compare that to 8,000 members in 1995. That’s a 150 percent growth. The Fencing Center of Chicago in Park Ridge, Ill. is just one place you’ll find Midwesterners with a passion for the sport.
