I am very excited to take on the role of Managing Editor for Urban Plains. Last summer, I had an editorial internship at dsm Magazine that gave me an inside look at all of the moving parts when it comes to planning and creating magazine issues. I am also currently a Dotdash Meredith apprentice for Entertainment Weekly where I get to flex my writing skills, and my Taylor Swift obsession is appreciated, which is a plus. A fun fact about me is that I love to sing, and I am a member of The Drake Choir at Drake University.
